Groups of us also specialize in massaging the participants feet to relieve their fatigue.

Do you know who "Hussain" is?
Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the third Imam of Shia. He is the son of Ali Ibn Aboutaleb (whose collection of sermons, letters, and sayings are published in the book Nahj al-Balagha) and the ancestor of the Promised Savior (The Promised Mahdi in the Quran and the Son of Man in the Bible). Imam Hussain (PBUH) along with his companions, carrying the message of peace and freedom, were martyred by wicked people in the year 680 AD in the desert of Karbala. Since then, every year, the followers of Imam Hussain and anyone who respects freedom, commemorate him as a role model for the resistance against oppression, tyranny and exploitation.
In recent years, this glorious gathering is held with the participation and support of people from all over the world.
It may be interesting for you to know that, according to the Ministry of Medical Care in Iraq, miraculously, on the last year Arbaeen (2021), despite the presence of over 10,000,000 participants, in the province of Karbala and on the main day of the Arbaeen ceremony, the death toll went down to zero! And in the relevant week, it was under 10.
You do not need anything to attend this ceremony except your sweetheart.
